‘Jauchzet, frohlocket...’. Famous Christmas songs and arias will be heard in the church in Bettembourg on the Sunday of the Second Advent. This year, the traditional Spiritual Concert by the Sängerfreed Choir with the Estro Armonico orchestra will delight you with some of the finest works in the classical repertoire. After the opening chorus of Bach's Christmas Oratorio, you can look forward to performances of Haydn's ‘Die Himmel erzählen’, Mozart's ‘Laudate Dominum’ and ‘Ave Verum’, the Sanctus from Gounod's ‘Petite Messe Solenelle’ and Saint-Saëns' “Tolite Hostias”. For this highly festive concert, the Sängerfreed Choir will be supported by the Estro Armonico orchestra in large ensemble.
